Welcoming the NFL’s Saquon Barkley to the Ramp Roster

Today, I’m excited to share that Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley is joining Ramp as both an investor and the star of our first Super Bowl commercial.
A Partnership Built on Shared Values
In addition to being one of the fastest running backs of all time, Saquon is a student of business and technology.
He’s had a long fascination with high-growth startups that redefine their industries after reading Zero to One years ago. When strong Ramp recommendations came through mutual investor connections, he knew he wanted more than just a traditional endorsement.
Saquon approached this decision with a deep sense of responsibility, determined to ensure it met the same standard of excellence that he set for himself in his football career.
Today, Ramp is proud to be his largest private technology investment.
Seeing Saquon put his team’s playoff run ahead of an individual all-time rushing record was a masterclass in leadership. Ramp lives by the same playbook. We put our customers’ long-term success first, helping them spend less – even if that sometimes comes at the cost of our own short-term profit. It’s this long-term orientation that’s led us to grow faster than nearly anyone, while delivering $2 billion in savings for our customers.
“True partnership requires skin in the game. That's why I invested in Ramp. I saw firsthand how they're powering American businesses to cut costs and achieve a higher level of performance. That's the kind of impact I want to be part of.”
– Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles Running Back
Our shared commitment to long-term value creation made Saquon a natural partner. We’re thrilled to be rooting for him through what will be both his Super Bowl debut and his 28th birthday.
Ramp’s First-Ever Super Bowl Ad
While Saquon has broken records for combined rushing and receiving yards, Ramp is known for speed as well. And, true to both of our DNA, we pulled together our first Super Bowl ad in less than a week.
The team came up with a purposefully absurd scene: show Saquon buried in a mountain of expense reports instead of doing what he does best – playing football. Clearly a bad use of talent!
The same goes for companies. Let teams do what they were hired to do, not waste their time on financial busywork. We can’t wait for you to take a look.
Thank you to our driven and talented team in making this happen … in Ramp-speed no less.
Go Birds!
"One week is a crazy timeline to attempt a Super Bowl ad from start to finish. We're lucky in that we have an amazing team of creatives, a culture where makers can make decisions fast, and we're working with Saquon, the fastest running back out there – so we knew we had a chance to pull it off."

“The practice managers love Ramp, it allows them to keep some agency for paying practice expenses. They like that they can instantaneously attach receipts at the time of transaction, and that they can text back-and-forth with the automated system. We've gotten a lot of good feedback from users.”

“The reason I've been such a super fan of Ramp is the product velocity. Not only is it incredibly beneficial to the user, it’s also something that gives me confidence in your ability to continue to pull away from other products.”
